U:

Captain John Uniacke - 95th Foot - severely wounded at the storming of Ciudad Rodrigo 19th January 1812. Died of wounds - 27th January 1812.

Lieutenant William Samuel Unthank - 44th Foot - killed at the storming of Badajoz - 6th April 1812.

Captain Charles Urquhart - 45th Foot - killed at Busaco - 27th September 1810.


V:

Ensign Frederick Vachell - Coldstream Guards - severely wounded at Bayonne, 14th April 1814. Died of wounds - 13th May 1814.

Ensign Richard Vance - 29th Foot - killed at Albuhera - 16th May 1811.
Ensign Vance wrapped the Regimental Colour around his body to prevent the French capturing it. It was recovered from his body.

Captain Frederick Vandeleur - 87th Foot - severely wounded at Vittoria, 21st June 1813. Died of wounds - 6th July 1813.

Ensign Walter Vane - 1st Foot Guards - severely wounded at Bayonne, 14th April 1814. Died of wounds - 20th April 1814.

Lieutenant James Veitch - 57th Foot - wounded at Albhera, 16th May 1811. Died in Spain - 1813.

Captain Joseph Venables - 83rd Foot - Died in France - 24th March 1814.

Lieutenant Charles Nicholas Vevers - 59th Foot - killed at the storming of San Sebastian - 31st August 1813.
