MID London Gazette 24 May 1918. Served in France with the Cavalry Division and there after with a Guards Regiment. MC gazetted 4 June 1917. After WWI went to South Africa. Died 25 March 1925. Research includes copies of articles written by Footner for the South African Veterinary Medical Association Journal.
