Aged 25. Pilot. Killed when an RAF C-130K Hercules crashed in Iraq, 30 January 2005.

Private Jason Smith - 52nd Lowland Regiment
Aged 32. Collapsed and died, 13 August 2003, in 140° F heat after coming off patrol in Basra. From Hawick, in the Scottish Borders. He was a Territorial Army soldier, serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers.

Aged 26. From Tamworth, Staffordshire. Killed by a roadside bomb while on patrol in the Risaala district of Amarah, 16 July 2005.

Killed in a road traffic accident in Baghdad 1 January 2004. Aged 30. From Monmouthshire. Believed to have been serving with the S.A.S.

Aged 31. From Perth, Scotland. Joined the Army 1997. Killed in action near Al Zubayr in southern Iraq, 24 March 2003. Awarded a posthumous Mention in Despatches.

Aged 39. Killed 21 March 2003 when a US CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter crashed in Kuwait.

Private Kevin Thompson - Royal Logistic Corps
Aged 21. Wounded 3 May 2007 when hisconvoy was hit by an improvised bomb. He was flown back to Britain, where he died 6 May 2007.

Private Pita Tukatukawaqa - The Black Watch
Aged 27. From Fiji. Killed when his Warrior armoured vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb near Camp Dogwood, south-west of Baghdad 8 November 2004. He joined the Black Watch in March 2001 and had served in Kosovo and Iraq. He was a trained sniper.

Aged 27, from Grimsby. Killed in an explosion while on patrol in Maysan Province, 19 April 2007.

Aged 27. From Fiji. Died of wounds sustained from a roadside bomb near the town of Ad Dayr, north of Basra City, 4 September 2006.

Aged 24. From Newcastle. Wounded 1 May 2005 while on patrol in an armoured car when a bomb exploded near Al-Amarah. He died of his wounds the following day.
